A little ‘travel, a little’ food, so much love: our Bea, 3 years old, participate in a cooking workshop in a pastry American DJ Milanno. An excellent opportunity to spend some ‘quality time with mom, dad and hallways children eager to prepare some sweets! ?
Since I mother I always tried not to put aside my passions, but rather to share them with my Bea, only moments to make our unique and special (I strongly believe that what accounts in life is not the amount of time spent together but the quality!) and of transforming them into moments of its growth.
So I never stopped traveling, photographing everything I switch to shooting and cooking … yes yes just like that: Bea and I often “hands-on” in our spare time … we chat, we laugh, we stimulate imagination and dexterity and we eat (here’s what you do not know that)
So, for his third birthday, I decided to give her a special gift … a cooking class 4 hands!
And, given our passion for the nation and the kitchen “stars and stripes”, what could be better than a course “Baby & Parents” pastry American California Bakery in Milan?
Here we are ready for our first lesson … armed with apron and chef’s hat we prepared shortbread cookies decorated with sugar paste for Father’s Day … in … in a magnificent setting of Piazza San Simpliciano Lab, one of the areas that I love most of Milan.
Cooking Workshops – Making the biscuits
These workshops for children take place on Saturday or Sunday morning (but the programming is complete on the site under “Cooking Lab”) and last about two hours.
They are required by the superlative “teacher Silvia”, as you call Bea, with small groups of eight children (aged 3 to 6 years): knead you play and have fun.
There are several laboratories divided by age, many adults also … you can buy individual lessons or packages and calendars are more or less quarterly.
By consulting the website of California Bakery you can get all the necessary information.
Besides the Lab, located in Milan, there are several stores where you can enjoy sweets washed down with an Orange Juice or a coffee in the typical “yum yum”!
